no focal changes Explanation: Fokalno znači da je promjena lokalizirana na jednom mjestu, nije "raspršena" npr po jetrenom tkivu. Definition of Focal 1. The point at which rays converge as, for example, in the focal point. 2. A localized area of disease. A focal cancer is limited to one specific area. |

focal lesion Explanation: Zavisi od konteksta, uglavnom lesion, mass... http://www.sor.org/learning/document-library/guidelines-prof... An example of a simple to read ‘factual’ abdominal ultrasound report is given below: Technique: Patient fasted. Transabdominal. Findings: Liver: Nodular appearance consistent with cirrhosis. No focal lesion. Portal vein patent with forward flow. Spleen: Enlarged - 17cm (Normal <12cm). Gallbladder: Normal. Common Bile Duct: Normal - 5mm. Kidneys: 5cm simple cyst upper pole right kidney. Otherwise normal. Right 11.2cm. Left: 10.5cm. Aorta: Normal. http://weill.cornell.edu/mri/MRI/Abdomen/liver_mri.htm Normal Liver Dictation Template Clinical Statement: Findings: Ascites: No ascites Liver: The liver is normal in size, contour and has normal signal intensity on all sequences. No focal hepatic lesions are identified. Portal Vein: Widely patent Hepatic Veins: Widely patent Biliary: No dilatation Gall Bladder: Normal in size and configuration, no cholelithiasis, no inflammation Spleen: Normal size and signal, no focal lesions Pancreas: Normal in size and contour, normal signal intensity on all sequences, no focal lesions are identified. Adrenal Glands: No masses identified Right Kidney: Normal in size, contour, signal intensity. No pelvicaliceal dilatation, no masses. Left Kidney: Normal in size, contour, signal intensity. No pelvicaliceal dilatation, no masses. Retroperitoneum: No adenopathy http://health.yahoo.net/galecontent/skin-lesions (promene na koži) Koji izveštaj je u pitanju? -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 6 hrs (2013-10-02 19:17:48 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Onda je definitivno focal lesion :) Ja bih stavila: The liver is normal in size and structure, without focal lesions. I ja sam u prvih nekoliko godina "promene" prevodila kao "changes", dok nisam shvatila da se to ne koristi baš tako u medicini na engleskom govornom području. Uglavnom je lesion ili mass, zavisi od kolokacije. |
