I am not sure what is meant here (doh!). 'Pored' is clear enough in most contexts but here it seems a little odd.

The sence has a very braod meaning - I'm sorry, this came out really stupid :-)))). I meant to say that "pored" used in this way in the sentence has a very broad meaning; therefore the translation has to have also the broadest possible meaning.
