Explanation:
The subtle idea behind an expression like ...wa shinai,is that you won't be able to do something,or you're not gonna do it for the life being,because you don't want to or it's just have no skill to do it.In a question like this,it's more of a rethorical nuance to it,which could be better understood if you put in an adverb like"isn't REALLY there anything else etc.",as if the writer wishes to convey his feelings or doubts through this strong and straight expression.
