actual depth (of the power switching unit) vs protruding depth (of the unit once mounted) Explanation: DH (= Double hetero-structure) refers to the execution of the switching action distributed to two separate buttons: one for ON and another for OFF. The switching unit can present either as a box fixed on the wall (露出刑 exposed box) (see link #1) or embedded in the wall (see link b). (植え込み) and so 'flush' (or nearly flush) with it. BTW, This is confirmed by the product code for this latter type, which is: DHF. So since this unit is mounted externally to its support, would see 取付寸法 as referring to the 'protruding depth (of the unit once mounted)' // compared to the 'actual depth of the unit), remaining the same regardless of the number of dedicated switch buttons it incorporates (whether 2, or 3 for three-phased current.) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 8 hrs (2016-10-04 05:18:42 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- PS: would use 'actual depth' of the unit for 外形寸法 in this context. I might have to specify that it is a DH switch box unit for external mounting, if we did not have a picture of it in the on line dialogue. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 8 hrs (2016-10-04 05:27:03 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- PS2: Apologies for not checking the kana/kanji conversion. 植え込み should read 埋め込み -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 8 hrs (2016-10-04 05:39:56 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- PS3: Oops! Did I answer your question? I guess not with the terms you are after: you asked : "What do the first two terms refer to?" so you mean 2極用、3極用? 2 connectors - 3 connectors / pins Explanation: "The 2-connector and the 3-connector units have the same external dimensions and also the same mounting dimensions." (I hadn't had my coffee yet, so I'm not quite happy with the phrasing...) but I'd go for 2 and 3 connectors / pins -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 8 hrs (2016-10-04 05:47:15 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B005UWBIDG/ref=pd_sim_sb...
