Explanation:
Weil *deformazione" nichts mit Lesen zu tun hat, würde ich mich frei fühlen, es auch frei zu übersetzen mit *Verzerrung*.
Und es passt ja auch zu dem Standpunkt, dass jeder subjektive Blick, jede Interpretation nicht deckungsgleich ist mit dem Ausgangsobjekt.
