Capo Caccia deve il suo nome alle antiche **battute venatorie**, tanto fruttuose da passare persino alla storia. Qui un tempo si faceva infatti strage, soprattutto di piccioni che qualche cacciatore catturava sparando alla rinfusa negli stormi, mentre altri non sprecavano neppure un colpo ma penetravano negli anfratti naturali che si aprono ancora oggi nelle scogliere a strapiombo sul mare, riuscendo così ad afferrare i confidenti uccelli addirittura con le mani.

oder auch "Hatz" (auf Wildschweine). Ob das bei Tauben auch so heißt, weiß ich nicht, das würde ich eher "groß angelegte Jagd" nennen.
