5-saitig Explanation: vereinfacht Erklärung auf ital. -> ORDINE. E' documentato nella "Prattica Musica..." di Scipione Cerreto (Napoli, 1601) e proviene verosimilmente dal corrispondente termine spagnolo "orden". I liutisti italiani parlavano genericamente di "corde", semplici o raddoppiate che fossero. Il termine "coro", oggi assai diffuso, proviene dal tedesco, ma pure O.Chilesotti, che con la cultura germanica era in ottima confidenza, preferiva, all'antica, "corde". Se cerchiamo oggi un vocabolo che corrisponda precisamente al francese "ordre", all'inglese "course", al tedesco "Chor", non si vede perchè preferire un frettoloso calco da una lingua germanica, piuttosto che un vocabolo neolatino, se pur scarsamente documentato didi -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2004-03-31 09:30:05 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- OK - vergogna - Uli hat REcht Ich war so begeistert von den corde = Saiten. s.u. Explanation: Das einzige, was ich mir dazu vorstellen kann, ist dass die "Bünde" gemeint sind ... denn 5-saitig (wie Didi sagt) kann das Instrument doch nicht sein, wenn es 6 Saiten hat. ???? Andererseits erscheint mir eine Gitarre mit fünf Bünden reichlich kurz!! (meine klassische Gitarre hat 20 Bünde!).
