I know that generally this word translates as - preface or forward.

It would appear so here also as the context is details of a book available at the Vatican. However I have a number of other names who are described as "dalla Prefazione".

I am asking the question here to ensure that there is not another meaning for the word in religious contexts. It is more than likely fine, I just have a niggling doubt.

I added the brackets because I think that's the only way of clarifying the meaning.

Notes to answerer
Asker: This is exactly what I think it should be. I don't know why I am doubting it. My lack of theology experience perhaps.

Asker: Yes I think brackets are the solution. The capital letter worried me. I didn't want this to turn out to be a place or a high ecclesiastical seat. The phrase is not clarified by context or position as the text is in a spreadsheet.
