Italian term or phrase: ra.
I am familiar with reddito catastale, but this is new to me. Here is the full phrase describing the property in a deed of sale from 2001:

al foglio 29, particella 220, a 10.00, semin. 2, rd. L 3,000, ra. L 3,500.

The L has the line through it, making it ITL (or is it pounds? - brain fart!)

Is it reddito attuale, and how does it contrast with the rd.?

Any info would be great. Grazie e buon lavoro!

agricultural income
Explanation:
rd stays for reddito dominicale and ra stays for reddito agricolo, in English they should correspond to the estate income (rd, http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/pdfs/r185.pdf) and to the agricultural income (ra).

Regarding the L symbol, I believe that if the contract's been registered in Italy, it's definitely Lire Italiane.
