Usually the 'paper weight' (a.k.a. basis weight) would be specified to be clearer for the type of paper naming in English printing/publishing - and various weight papers have specific names.

Lo trovi anche tradotto con "provisional binding" (in FR, se ti può aiutare, è "cartonnage d'attente")

Il "pieno" per ora latita. Se trovo qualche riferimento mi rifaccio viva.
