Tech/Engineering - Printing & Publishing / label applicator
Italian term or phrase: tempo di sparo
this term appears in the options list in a user menu for a label applicator.
I know that SPARO refers to the force with which the label is applied to the product - I am wondering if sparo in this case is simply jargon for the 'tamp blow' application method.
Any help / links much appreciated!

***Air jets apply glue spots onto the containers without physical contact for the pick-up gluing. As the glue passes through the spray nozzles, a "riffling effect" is created and this twisting action allow for the application of a very think spiral spot of glue on the container; enough to pick up the label from the magazine***
