just on principle Explanation: The basic idea, which you can get from the dictionary is: apart from, leaving aside, aside from; irrespective of, regardless of in other words, they hate each other irrespective of what anyone says or does or has said or has done. "Just on principle" is only one idea -- just for the heck of it, if your text is that informal. Or, with these ideas, you'll be able to invent something yourself that works. |
