Italian term or phrase: ripresa fotografica
"Sig. X cura il settore di ripresa fotografica e fotografia commerciale dello Studio XX."

"ripresa fotografica," to my slightly addled brain, seems nothing more than "the taking of photographs," which would be, in English, simply "photography." What I'd like to avoid is "photography and commercial photography." Any ideas?

Thanks!

photo shoots
Explanation:
if it's a studio which has anything to do with fashion, journalism, etc. etc., you'd call it a photo shoot (in the US anyway)

Explanation:
to avoid the repetition, and keep the difference between the two parts of the sector, I'd use sth like 'photographic shooting'

Explanation:
I do also agree.Italian is a lengthy language.Just think about the word sunglasses,in Italian it means occhiali da sole,so what the English perfectly solves condensed into as little as 1 word only, the Itlain langauges needs 3.
