Si tratta della traduzione e dell'adattamento inglese (a fini scolastici) di un pezzo dell'intervista a Roberto Benigni a "Che tempo che fa".
A un certo punto, Benigni parla di Dante, della Divina Commedia e del suo tour TuttoDante.

…ma il viaggio che ci fa fare Dante è che dopo averlo letto non…in due parole forse ho già detto…ma non si guardano più le persone con noncuranza, con distrazione, ma si guarda ogni persona come uno scrigno di un mistero, come depositari di un destino immenso. Ci fa sentire che tutti noi, ma tutti noi, anche se i nostri giorni e le nostre notti non sembrano eccezionali a nessuno, ognuno di noi è depositario di questo destino [...]

Come si può tradurre "scrigno di un mistero" in questo caso?

Avevo pensato a qualcosa come "keeper of a mystery" o "trasure chest of greatness", ma mi piacerebbe avere il parere di qualche madrelingua o esperto.
