one flesh Explanation: An idea. This the most common use of "una carne" unless of course its beef. As in "E i due saranno una carne sola." |

is of the flesh/is bodily Explanation: to translate the whole phrase 'avviene in una carne'. Or 'takes place bodily', if you like. is embodied Explanation: Carne in French is chair, but I think of incarnation which is embodiment. Avvenire is se produire. |
