winding of metal rod Explanation: see what McGraw Hill says: copper wire: wire commonly made from copper by drawing from a hot-rolled rod without annealing. I assume 1) the explaination can be applied to any metal, not just copper 2) the "tondo" you are referring to is not just the shape of the wire, but metal at a 'pre-wire' stage. This would fit since you are talking about winding wires directly from the smelter. Hope I made myself clear enough. AUGURI!! |
