As Andrea indicated, it's "colloquial" for neoplasia. Further context confirmed it in my case.

Google gives me more than 26000 hits for heteroplasia: https://www.google.it/?gws_rd=ssl#q="heteroplasia"
However, they mostly refer to osseous heteroplasia.

Statistically speaking (in terms of frequencies of those disorders which could be described as an 'eteroplasia ovarica'), this is most likely ovarian endometriosis/endometrioma. <br />On the other hand, I find as few as 5 G-hits for 'eteroplasia ovarica' (one of which is this thread), hence, it seems to be individual language use of a few physicians and might best be handled with a translator's note.

the doctors used this colloquial ( though inappropriate) term of eteroplasia to mean 'tumor' or simply heteroplastic changes in the ovaries. This is an important distinction and I wish additional people would comment here. Thanks a lot!
