Tech/Engineering - Medical: Dentistry / implant description
Italian term or phrase: basettina
I have found the term but not in this context. Has anyone heard of this? Is there an English equivalent that can be verified? I have the deadline this afternoon.

Here is the sentence - sorry about the sparse context, but this is all I have - a Dr. is describing his implantology product line:

Abbiamo il calcinabile, abbiamo la *basettina* oro e tante altre possibilità per fare la parte protesica.

male attachement
Explanation:
Actually in Italian they are called "matrice" e "patrice" but in English they are only classified as normal attachements. They are used for telescopic prosthetics over implants.
