Italian term or phrase: albero veloce
Hello,

I have a doubt: if we are to translate "albero lento" as being "output shaft", is it right to translate "albero veloce" as being the "input shaft"?

I have not much context, it is a table within which there are listed the spare parts of an agitator.

Thanks,

Maria

input shaft
Explanation:

high-speed shaft

Explanation:
A high-speed shaft is the albero veloce and slow-speed shaft is the albero lento.

An output shaft is an "albero in uscita" in Italian

Example sentence(s):
  • Brakes can be placed on either the slow-speed shaft or on the high-speed shaft
  • Connects the low-speed shaft to the high-speed shaft and increases the rotational speeds from about 30-60 rotations per minute (rpm), to about 1,000-1,800 rpm; this is the rotational speed required by most generators to produce electricity.

  -> Grazie. lento = output - veloce = input
