As per the question's discussion.

This is a 'three-litre raised sprue-conveyor-belt'. I suggest maintaining the hypens to avoid ambiguities. They want a Plexiglas®* safety barrier installed behind it to protect from accidents with the 'sprue' as it travels on the belt.

There are different ways to translate materozze, but after our discussions it became clear it was 'sprue' - not other translations such as 'feedhead' or 'riser.'

*Side note
