Italian term or phrase: messa in discorso
Market research (powerpoint presentation): with reference to the 'griglia di analisi semiotica utilizzata nella ricerca':

*MESSA IN DISCORSO*
temi, figure, tone of voice, spazio, tempo, ecc.

What could it be? Thanks in advance!

Explanation:
This looks like a standard term in semiotics, which is not my field of expertise. From what I've seen, it means the act of producing spoken language, which I would call enunciating.

Here's a link that would seem to confirm my answer, though I repeat that I am no expert in the field, so perhaps there is a standard term in English, distinct from 'enunciation', which corresponds to 'messa in discorso':

speech acts/acting

Explanation:
Why not to refer to Austin and Searle, who first analyzed language as a peculiarity related to the whole human being?
You'll surely find a bunch of references on the web both for speech acts and illocutionary acts.
Considering your context involes suprasegmental traits too, I think that "performing speech acts" fits the context.
