It doesn't mean domestic violence, though that could be a symptom of it. You say the question is about sexual abuse, so it would be abuse of cohabitation if (say) a man moved in with a woman and abused her child.

Asker: Hi, sorry if I created confusion with the context field 'sexual abuse' or if I understand wrong: is sexual abuse only dealing with parent abusing of a child? In my context, a man is abusing of a woman with whom he lives, forcing her to have sexual intercourse against her will.
