Is this "market manipulation", "market abuse" or something else. Is there an official translation of it on some government website?

The context is (just as an example, not my actual translation):

IL DECRETO LEGISLATIVO N. 231/2001

Inizialmente circoscritto a fattispecie di reato a danno delle Pubbliche Amministrazioni, il decreto è stato successivamente esteso ad altre tipologie, e recentemente anche ai reati di abuso di informazioni privilegiate (insider trading) e manipolazione del mercato (aggiotaggio) ed è prevedibile un’ulteriore estensione della responsabilità degli enti anche ad altri reati.

market manipulation
Explanation:
There are two main categories of market abuse: insider dealing and market manipulation, which were previously dealt with by the Insider Dealing Directive (89/592/EEC), which is no longer in force, and the Investment Services Directive ( 93/22/EEC ). Both the Insider Dealing Directive and a separate Directive on market manipulation served the same objective: to ensure the integrity of European financial markets and to enhance investor confidence in those markets. It was therefore felt that Directive 89/592/EEC should be repealed and replaced by a common legal framework covering both insider trading and market manipulation. The new instrument is not confined to "regulated markets" but also takes in other types of market (such as Alternative Trading Systems (ATS)), as these can be used for insider trading or market manipulation in connection with financial instruments negotiated on regulated markets.

Thanks Silvia, with the EU quote, it becomes a DOC translation, even if some DOC wines are a little lacking in the tasting.

There are various ways of translating it, as EuroDicAutom says
