How would this translate without using defects for "vizi" since difetti immediately follows?

Also, if anyone can help me understand the best way to phrase the whole sentence, beginning with the "Vero che" and ending with the question mark, I'd be grateful. In other words, do I phrase it as a question or as a statement? There's a whole list of facts submitted to the Court for consideration that all beging with Vero che and end with the question mark.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
