La scheda BIO è dotata di 16 driver per pilotaggio output.
I driver in questione (2 chip da 8 output ciascuno -> ULN2803) sono Open Drain, e sono in grado di pilotare carichi fino a 500mA per singolo output.
Per il cablaggio dei 16 output è presente un connettore da flat 13x2 poli.
Su questo connettore (J19), oltre ai pin di output (OUT_EXTx) e alla gnd di riferimento per gli output (PGND), sono state connesse:
un’alimentazione generata internamente alla scheda BIO (12Vcc 1 A -> VRELE_OUT), per l’alimentazione di eventuali relè (meccanici o allo stato solido) esterni;
2 pin di protezione dei driver ULN2803 (VCC_ULN01 e VCC_ULN02), che vanno connessi esternamente alla scheda BIO con l’alimentazione di pilotaggio degli output.
