guaranteeing the validity of the data Explanation: This is a horrible (at least for English translators), thankfully, rare phrase found in Italian academia and consequently also in some legal/regulatory contexts. In my experience, some authors just love to pepper their texts with it. Unfortunately, there is no direct equivalent translation and it has no precise technical meaning as a term. You might translate it with guaranteeing the validity of the data or just validating the data. For that case. As for the systems, well you could consider "bringing the systems up to standard" or even use "ensuring compliance with the standard" or something along those lines. Each instance needs to be addressed separately unfortunately. |
