Italian term or phrase: popolamento
This is from a banking software.
Flusso principale:

I was wondering what term I could use since population does not quite fit. Maybe filling?
Thanks!

You say populate doesn't fit? Do you mean in meaning or by no. of characters?

Populate is a standard term. However, if you mean number of characters you could use "fill" or "pop. field" or "enter value"

Thanks for your help! Since I'm no computer expert I felt populate was more a "people" term!

import

Explanation:
I came across this term the other day and while I am no computer expert, I know that import and migration are terms used in this kind of context. Import values would make sense even to me.
