As your text suggests, these credit lines (yes, that IS what they are) relate to various types of instruments which may, at any moment in time, be fully utilised, partially utilised or unutilised... ...various departments within the bank or banking group may not conduct a transaction or a series of transactions of a certain type with a client/counterparty which exceed the established credit line for that activity. Global credit limits for the sum total of all activities with the counterparty would also apply. |
