The term is used in the context of calculation of severance indemnity due for dismissal of employment. The paragraph reads:

Il momento di cessazione del rapporto di lavoro del Sig. XXX influisce anche sulla quantificazione del T.F.R. (severance indemnity) e, in particolare, sull'accantonamento relative all'ultimo anno di lavoro, dovendose tener conto di tutte le voci retributive percepite dall'impiegato.

From the kudoz glossary and the internet, I get the impression that this is sum reserve fund. But I would like feedback as I am not sure.

Explanation:
"the provision made for the last year of work" "alternatively the sum set aside".
However as I understand this it is purely an accounting operation (there is not necessarily any cash fund formed), recorded as a liability and charged to the income statement and as such is termed a "provision" under "UK" accounting practice, although Americans might term it a reserve.
