at 2005 levels Explanation: It means that had the resources promised in 1970 actually been spent, they would have been sufficient to eradicate poverty, measured at the 2005 level, 22 times over. i.e. the sum promised in 1970 divided by 22 would have been sufficient to eradicate poverty at 2005 levels. that make sense? |
