Explanation:
I have been running into ipotizzato every second page for 144 pages and trying to think of a good term for it in context. It had to be your case that brought POSTULATED to mind!!! It seems so good I looked it up in the Oxford Concise just to be sure. It says quote suggest or assume the existence, fact , or truth of (something) as a basis for reasoning, discussion or belief...unquote. Seems to fit. Now I will go back to my own drawing board... Thanks for making this happen (for me anyway!)
