Cosmetics, Beauty / epilazione

upper lip hair
Explanation:
I think the problem is that the source term should have been the whole phrase. The correct way to translate this IMHO would be removal of unwanted facial hair on upper lip, chin and neck.

facial hair

Explanation:
Facial hair removal - Io tradurrei così, mi sembra che sia il termine più comune. Anche perché moustache é offensivo per una donna.
In bocca al lupo!

(lip) wax

Explanation:
when you want the hairs on the upper lip - or 'upper lip hair' - waxed, you ask for a lip wax. Hope this helps.

ok hang on - the 'baffetti' is specifically the hair on the upper lip or 'upper lip hair' - hence the treatment is the lip wax. Facial hair can be anywhere on the face - eg also chin. If you go for this then upper lip hair should be entered in the glossary.

neutral  writeaway: where do you see anything about wax?
15 mins
-> quite - hence my note and comment re the glossary - if it's wax, the treatment they refer to is known as a lip wax. The 'baffetti' -which is what needs translating- is the upper lip hair that is removed.

agree  Rossella Mainardis: lip wax in my opinion is the most let's say pc and that's what it's called, no lady would ask for a fascial/upper lip HAIR removal. Right, we're saying the same thing. Lip + whatever: laser, epilation, electrolysis etc.
17 mins

neutral  Enza Longo: there's no mention of waxing and it doesn't only refer to the upper lip hence hair removal is quite appropriate/ I misread the text ... the dashes in-between the words through me off so yes for the upper lip bit but 'wax' should be omitted

  -> u r right c response above

neutral  awilliams: with you on "upper lip" as "facial hair" covers "sottomento" and "collo" and we need a breakdown here. Not with you on "wax". @ rossella - PC has nothing to do with it - think epilation, laser removal, electrolysis...

agree  Melissa Stanfield: The important thing is to never use "moustache" for a woman, the salon would have some very disgruntled customers! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depilation (see epilation/upper lip), http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intense_pulsed_light

Hair removal for upper lip, chin, neck

Explanation:
Sorry to differ, but as IPL (Iskra Pulse Light) is not a wax technique, I think just the body parts should be mentioned in the title. Facial hair for me might include eyebrows for example which are not included in the source.

....or facial hair removal as suggested by Tom. The latter being more elegant in my mind :)

neutral  writeaway: what wax?/ok. Too bad it's not in the Italian text. sounds like a good deal ;-)
2 hrs
-> This wax: only 6 dollars.http://anishashairandskinsalon.com/ in the text I read "epilazione baffetti".As for sure you will know the english term for that is "upper lip wax".If one translates "baffetti" and then adds "epilazione" he will sound like a dufus
