Tech/Engineering - Computers: Software / medical software/hardware
Italian term or phrase: bloccante
The context is a tech. support contact for a medical imaging system, where a "problema bloccante" will be addressed within four hours of the tech. support dept. receiving the request.

This is in the Proz glossaries as "terminating" but I'm not sure the client means this. I think they mean any problem (HW or SW) which means the machine/SW system cannot function, and so patients cannot be processed.

I'm looking for other UKEN ways of saying this.

Any suggestions?
