  -> Indeed and thanks for your 'non-Pontifical blessing'.NB as a City of London law clerk, I used to 'indorse' (different spelling) an assignment of life policies over to a mortgagee/mortgage lender as security for a loan.

*Atti di Variazione* sono gli *atti di variazione catastale*. La variazione catastale serve per comunicare agli uffici dell'Agenzia del Territorio (Catasto) una modifica sopravvenuta in un immobile (e non una variazione dei proprietari, locatari o appaltatori neppure variazioni nella polizza assicurativa).

Tramite gli atti di variazione s’informa al Catasto su una modifica fatta nell’immobile. Per esempio, in caso di ristrutturazione di un appartamento, di un ampliamento di una casa, etc. Dopo degli interventi edilizi è obbligatorio procedere con la variazione catastale dell'immobile entro 30 giorni dalla fine lavori (altrimenti L'Agenzia del Territorio applicherà una sanzione).

La variazione può essere richiesta dal proprietario dell'immobile o da un delegato alla correzione (Geometra, Studio Tecnico, società di servizi come Catastoinrete, etc.). Mai da parte della compagnia di assicurazione.
