Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general)
Italian term or phrase: attività
• Senza pregiudizio per la generalità di quanto precede e nell’ambito della manutenzione straordinaria, il Gestore si impegna a gestire, coordinare e controllare le società appaltatrici nell’interesse dell’Outlet, escludendo gli oneri connessi alla gestione diretta delle attività ad esempio: Direttore Lavori, Responsabile della Sicurezza e Responsabile dei Lavori.

But these are not attività; they're people. Could this be a typo? Or a stock form that was filled out and this section was not changed?

activities
Explanation:
While you can often translate this term with operations or business, you can equally well often translate it with "activities" which is commonly found in financial reports. Here, I think activities is more appropriate. The word business is associated with cash flowing into a concern and sales whcih is hardly the case of a safety officer. Also operations is associated with parts of a company, which could be split off and sold as in discontinued operations. Here, however we have the management of people working on a construction site and "activities" would seem to be the most appropriate term.
This Google scores extremely high for two two-word phrases:

agree  Tom in London: Even though these activities are carried out by physical people, they're still activities and since they are described as such in the source text, I would stay as close as possible to the source text.
