From a list of prices, apparently from a company to its potential clients:

"Servizi Inclusi:
I prezzi indicati nelle Tabelle 3,4,5,6: “Scala prezzi / volumi obiettivo” si intendono comprensivi dei seguenti servizi a valore aggiunto:
• Recapito fino alle 19:00
• Consegna al piano
• Raccolta firma del destinatario..."

Is the intended meaning "plus value" (if so, how would you insert it into the sentence)? Or is it indicating an added cost to the customer, should he choose to select these services as part of his purchase of products from this company.

agree  James (Jim) Davis: @PHil the terms commonly used are "VAS" and "Value added services" which get 10 times the other way round. I had my knuckles rapped by a client about 10 years ago for putting myself in that 10:1 minority, so I keep them out of rapping range. Ouch is wrong

neutral  philgoddard: I agree that they're provided free (or factored into the cost), but I don't accept that there's any difference between "added value" and "value added". The latter may get more Google hits, but it doesn't mean Oliver's answer is wrong.

  -> the difference might seem subtle, but the resulting meaning changes completely. Jim's reference below explains it clearly. I will just add: value-added=extra services offered for free; added-value=services worth more, therefore costing more.

A very similar term "high value added" goods and services means practically the opposite. These are very expensive like a certain brand of smartphone and tablet or the services of a high court lawyer. These you must be prepared to pay extra for. They are expensive for the buyer and usually very remunerative for the seller/producer.
