Unsure about how to break apart the sentence and what's meant by "attività sociali":

L'assemblea può deliberare la riduzione del capitale sociale anche mediante assegnazione a singoli soci o gruppi di soci di determinate attività sociali o azioni o quote di altre imprese nelle quali la società abbia compartecipazione.

my try:

"The shareholders' meeting may decide to reduce the share capital also through the allocation to individual shareholders or groups of shareholders of certain corporate activities or shares or shareholdings in other companies in which the company has partnership."

Am I correct on this that it's just referring to "corporate activities", like a general phrase indicating any kinds of activities? Or is something more specific meant here? Or is "corporate activities" linked to the preceding phrase, as in, "the meeting may allocate to groups of shareholders (involved in) certain corporate activities..."

Please see my discussion post on previous question "socio" in the context of an s.r.l. There are several sources from law firms if you google quota holder. The difference is not "artificial". Comparticipazione is " a joint equity interest/shareholding. Please avoid partnership -see previous post. - ACK
