Italian term or phrase: attività professionali riservate
Hi everyone, I am translating an incorporation certificate and under the section "company object" I found the following sentence:

La società potrà, nei limiti di legge e nel rispetto delle norme di legge in materia di attività professionali riservate, svolgere attività di progettazione architettonica, strutturale e impiantistica...

Any idea on how translate ' attività professionali riservate'? I think that they are professions governed by special laws, but I couldn't really find an explanation anywhere. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Explanation:
I don't think there's any direct translation for this - it means activities which may be carried out only by suitably qualified people. You could translate the whole thing as follows:
"The company may, subject to the law and to professional standards, carry out..."
You don't need to repeat "law" as the Italian has done, since "nei limiti di legge" is a cover-all.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks Earnest, the only sentence where the expression is used is the one I wrote. As far as I can tell, the professional activities are building design and plant engineering and the like.
