Tra le organizzazioni fondatrici, la più rilevante è l'Associazione Finanza Etica, attiva sin dalla fine degli anni settanta. The non profit Association for Ethical Finance (Afe) was constituted and has been promoted by the main Italian organizations who are active since the end in the 70s in the promotion of responsible and solidarity savings in Italy.
It is a second level non profit organization, whose purpose is to increase the culture around ethical finance, comparing the main actors in the field, communicating the potentialities, receiving and elaborating the stimuli coming from volunteer associations, social entrapeneurship, from sensible citizens, within and in reference to the not for profit Italian sectors.

Come vedi al link sopra viene definita "second level non profit organization", ma non mi convince affatto come resa..

allora, dato che il significato è "associazione no profit indipendente di secondo livello (cioè composta da organizzazioni)"

ho pensato di renderlo come sopra. Non so se esista un esatto corrispondente US/UK, mi sa che è linguaggio burocratese tipicamente italiano, ci si deve arrangiare, credo (almeno in mancaza di qualcosa di attestato)
