Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general) / budgeting in erection of electical poles and cables
Italian term or phrase: Preventivazione in A.L.
They're designing a software for the erection of the electrical poles and cables that you see every day of the week in your local area. They want to make sure that the curves in the wires, as they loop from pole to pole, are not sagging too much or are not too tight (air temperatures can cause one or the other). They are budgeting for all this "in A.L.", and I haven't got the faintest idea what this "A.L." means. I look forward to receiving your suggestions.

It could confirm! Anyway, is the budget provided as an attachment or at the end of the document? or is it inside the document?

I hope someone else has got a clearer idea!

As it turned out A.L. was a computer software, "Archivio Lavori", but Alessandra's suggestion was also correct, so I award the points just the same.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Alessandra, does this confirm your hypothesis? http://www.ansv.it/cgi-bin/all/AL.pdf

Asker: beautiful. in which case we'll hang around and see if anyone else wants to have their say, after which the points are alll yours!

Asker: I doubt that very much, my darling. Your suggestion couldn't be clearer.
