Italian term or phrase: ausilio, ausili
Here, we're dealing with a long series of instructions for the performance of audits/inspections whose purpose is to grant (or not) a manufacturer or food-producer an ISO 9001/2000 certification.

The problem is the word "ausili," which appears only in these two examples:

--Consegna documenti e ausili ai valutatori
-- In caso di audit combinati, verranno inviati anche gli ausili specifici per gli altri schemi su cui si eseguirà l’audit.

Any ideas what they mean here? Thank you!

agree  Raffaella Panigada: All the other available/relevant material besides the documents specifically requested. Does the expression "explanatory attachments" exist?/If we had a little of that English logic maybe we wouldn't be buried under tons of useless papers!

-> At that level of detail in an ISO doc anything can exist, but English logic is that if they don't explain anything they shouldn't be attached anyway.
