Italian term or phrase: drosera sp. pl.
Sto traducendo un testo in cui ci sono dei nomi di piante. Ad un certo punto compare:...tra le più interessanti vi sono le drosere (Drosera sp. pl.).
So che drosera= sundew. Quello che non capisco è quel "sp. pl." che compare solo nei siti italiani (pare dunque che in ingl. non rimanga così), e che viene associato alla Drosera Rosolida, la cui traduzione non trovo da nessuna parte.
Qualcuno sa per cosa sta "sp. pl."? Devo tradurlo?

Drosera Sp.Pl.
Explanation:

Or perhaps it\'s equivalent to \'Drosera spp\', (Pl.= plural?) meaning \'Drosera species\'.

species (abr. sp., pl. spp.)
A fundamental category of taxonomic classification that ranks below a genus and above subspecies; a population or series of populations whose individuals have the potential to freely breed with one another and that is discontinuous in variation from other populations or series of populations. The plural abreviation \"spp.\" is usually used to refer to all the individual species within a genus, e.g., Cornus spp. refers to all the plants within the dogwood genus.
