Italian term or phrase: "lavoro di sistema"
Here's the context:

Il calendario 2015 dedicato a Barsanti e Matteucci, è per (name of company) un duplice omaggio.
Un omaggio “universale” alla forza innovativa che scaturisce sempre da un rispettoso e “calibrato” incontro tra intelligenze e competenze, da un lavoro di squadra e di sistema.

The only thing I can come up with is "from team work and efficiency".

Any takers?

Thanks.

I actually think your own solution is quite nice Daniel! However, "lavoro di sistema" to my mind, whilst conveying a sense of efficiency also suggests that little bit extra, organisation and great care in following all the steps carefully, hence a great deal of "method".
System and method are very similar. I think you could equally well use either of the two above suggestions.

Explanation:
"from work as a team and in the industry."
"sistema" here means in the community as a network. Here the "community" (associates, customers, suppliers etc.) would probably be that of the industry in which they operate, probably the automobile industry or a part of it.

neutral  James (Jim) Davis: Hi Linda, in my opinion this is the same as "mettere a sistema" where the "sistema" is the broader community or the economy. Could be ambiguous, but "di squadra" then "di sistema" where sistem is "sistema università", "sistema sindacato", "sistema scuola"

-> Hi Jim, I do understand but needless to say I do not agree with you. I am sorry but I think you are off-track here. Please note it is DI sistema, which basicaly means "systematically", in this context. I think we just have to agree to differ on this one!
