Italian term or phrase: minima continuativa
La pista per prove di velocità è utilizzata per la determinazione delle prestazioni dinamiche dei veicoli (velocità massime, minima continuativa, frenatura, sforzo al gancio, prove di slalom).

I don't know if there's a typo or something, but I have no idea what "minima continuativa" could be. "Massima continuativa" would make more sense, but I can't find anything anywhere about a "minima".

minimum continuous (speed)
Explanation:
I don't know much about cars but it looks like speed characteristics:

velocità massima, minima continuativa

=

maximum speed and minimum continuous speed

The term is mostly used in the descriptions of locomotives.

Thanks for the input. Maybe that's what they were thinking about, but I can't seem to confirm that it's ever used to refer to motor vehicles (other than trains).
