Here's some context: Io ho una guida rotonda, mi piace far girare la moto di gas, con la coppia del motore, questo invece, anche se molto, molto potente, è molto vuoto sotto, non ha coppia ed è molto nervoso ed è molto difficile avere una risposta precisa e sincera del motore al gas e non mi aiuta

Quando si parla che il "motore gira rotondo" (linguaggio gergale, proprio da officina!), si utilizza l'aggettivo "smooth" ad indicare che il movimento è omogeneo, senza impuntamenti.
Forse l'autore del testo voleva dire proprio questo, ossia che la sua guida è fluida, progressiva, non nervosa (come invece è il funzionamento del motore).
Non sono, però, convinta al 100%.
