I need help with another item:
- bandelle laterali

Context:
In the design, development, and construction of a new type of vehicle (mini-truck), various steps are lined out. In each step is given the deliverable (main objective) followed, in parentheses, by a list of more specific deliverables. My problems are with this one step:

"Prototipo del body (modelli e stampi per body; modelli e stampi per plancia; modelli e stampi per paraurti anteriore e posteriore, **bandelle laterali** e portiere; cale di assemblaggio; completamento cabina; assemblaggio telaio e cabina; test indoor)."

It's not much of a context to work on.

My best guesses:
- side storage compartment doors

As an add-on, I translated "modelli e stampi" as "models and moulds" -- does that sound right?
