I found this kudoz:http://www.proz.com/kudoz/1947442
but I am not convinced with the answers as this is a course for babies (lessons in a pool to build up confidence with the water).

Thanks

Dana

baby swimming classes
Explanation:
This is what they are called in my local swimming pool (also Water Babies). For babies from birth upwards.

"A weekly course to discover the joys and benefits of introducing your baby to water in a fun, yet structured way and learn key water confidence skills, using word association, games and exercises. Your course is complimented by our waterbaby starter pack including the complete course programme on DVD.

Details
Where babies are concerned it is important to remember that they have no inherent fear of the water - after all they were surrounded by it for several months! Not only that, they also have a natural and instinctual ability to hold their breath when submerged. This course aims to build upon this ability by teaching babies not to panic if they should fall into water, to kick to the surface and either hold on to the side or float on their backs".

agree  Paola Dossan: That's it! I read that writing on a multi-language brochure from a swimming pool near here!

neutral  Shera Lyn Parpia: from what I know, it's not a course to teach safety so this has probably been used incorrectly.
4 hrs
->  In my experience safety is taught to the parents as the children in question are just few months old. In the UK this is how they are called, I attended these courses with both my kids.
