The client gave me this description: La bussola è un cilindretto che serve a distanziare una vite con il proprio dado. La si usa spesso per stringere delle plastiche, che senza la presenza della bussola (metallica) finirebberi schiacciate nel serraggio.
La bussola a T ha la stessa funzione della bussola, ma presenta anche un anello ad una delle due estremità (per cui in sezione la bussola assume la forma di una T). La funzione dell'anello è per motivi di centraggio e/o per distribuire la coppia di serraggio su una superficie più ampia (tipicamente sulle plastiche della carenatura)
