Il glossario it>en fornito con il file mi da` 'boring' per barenatura (foratura di un cilindro metallico di notevole lunghezza eseguita prima dell'alesatura).

Barenata, invece, sarebbe il participio passato di barenare? Il verbo 'barenare' pero` non lo trovo.

Ecco il contesto:

A bronzina serrata a 70 Nm

Nota:
La bronzina di testa di biella viene fornita sia al valore nominale che minorata di 0.25 e 0.50 mm.

Allineamento biella

Utilizzare un calibro con un piano di riscontro o un comparatore come in figura.
Controllare l'allineamento degli assi; lo scarto A = 0.02 mm; limite = 0.05 mm.

Het werkwoord 'barenare' staat niet in wdbk. De Mauro online maar wel in Devoto-Oli. Kijk:
"barenare (ba-re-nà-re) v.tr. (barèno, ecc.) ~ Nel linguaggio di officina, lo stesso che alesare. [Da sp. barrenar 'trapanare, forare'].

--) Komt m.a.w. van het Spaans en is nogal 'zeldzaam' of beter erg specifiek - op google + yahoo 'slechts' weinig meer dan 800 hits, relatief weinig voor een werkwoord.

---) Volgens mij is 'barenata' inderdaad een afgeleide van het werkwoord 'barenare', dit werkwoord staat niet in De Mauro online, maar het bestaat wel. Andere afgeleiden zijn: barenatore (de bediende van het werktuig), barenatrice (het werktuig zelf), bareno en barenatura, allemaal afgeleid (volgens Devoto-Oli) van het werkwoord 'barenare' --) doorboren of perforeren.
