"Testing of the clients new system performed after the successful completion of unit testing. End-to-end testing consists of two cycles and is the last step prior to going into production. The first cycle needs to be successfully completed before beginning the next cycle. One day of transactions, reports, and balancing is simulated within a cycle. End-to-end testing can last between 3-5 days and is considered complete once all cycles are completed without exceptions. If any problems occur during end-to-end testing, testing stops until the problems are resolved and re-tested. Once the problems have been resolved and tested, end-to-end will begin at Cycle 1 again. "
